HURAcán
Huracán is a feature film about an aspiring mixed martial arts fighter,
Alonso Santos, struggling to make it into the pro MMA circuit as he battles with Multiple Personality Disorder.
Produced by DELALUZ PICTURES, Huracán was written, directed by, and starring Cassius Corrigan, alongside the incredibly talented lead actress, Yara Martinez, who stars on Jane the Virgin on the CW, True Detective on HBO, and The Tick on Amazon.
Co-starring are two of the top fighters in the world, the top UFC welterweight contender, and legendary Miami-born street fighter, Jorge Masvidal, and the two time WBC World Champion in Muay Thai, Gregory Choplin.
Also making his dramatic debut is the social media superstar and musician Steven Spence, who plays a pivotal mentorship role for Alonso.
Huracán was shot entirely in Miami, featuring all professional MMA fighters, and featuring an innovative form of therapy, never before shown in a feature film, called EMDR, that is revolutionizing the way trauma survivors are treated.
Huracán is currently in post-production, and will start the film festival circuit in the fall of 2018.
